Diet
Healthy diet seek to
boost metabolism by avoiding foods that cause slow digestion.
In the following, tips
aimed at a healthy diet promotes metabolism.
The body distinguishes
between processed foods rich in toxins and causing inflammation, and those
healthy.
Thus, when processed
foods, the innate immune system (the first protective line to defend the body
against its naturally occurring invasive organisms) responds, increasing the
production of the stress hormone and slowing down the metabolism.
In contrast, some
"healthy" foods cause an increase in weight, constant fatigue and
digestive problems, as well as impaired thyroid functions and hormone balance.
Inflammatory foods are divided into two types: specific inflammatory foods, and
general inflammatory foods.
Specific inflammatory
foods are identified through a blood test, which detects the level of
inflammation in a particular individual.
The general inflammatory
foods affect the general public, and are difficult to digest or absorb, such
as: artificial colors, chemicals and flavors added.
In this context, it is
recommended to avoid the following foods in the healthy diet, as much as
possible:
• Sugary drinks,
including soda and juices.
• Foods manufactured
from cereals, especially the type containing "gluten", including
wheat products, such as bread, pasta, biscuits, cakes and desserts.
• Refined vegetable
oils.
• Sweeteners and
industrial ingredients.
• Dairy products and low
quality animals, ie, extracted from animals that do not feed on grass, are
grown in pastures and are non-organic.
• Fat-free products.
• Genetically modified
grains, wheat and flour.
